New web site
Once again Travel-to-Teach has renewed it's web site!
And this time it's not only small adjustments but an entirely new concept.
Nat Manu from Ghana, London and BBC has made the new site and we think it looks more professional, it will give us the chance to expand our program to several more places and countries, it's easier to navigate and has a clearer structure.
Since this changes our colours and our logo we fear that the frequent visitor may not recognize us. So we send this newsletter to all our contacts to assure you that we are the same organization and the same people now as before. Take a look at out new site
120 volunteers
We have been recieving volunteers for about a year now and we have had had more than 70 volunteers joining us and already have some 50 new volunteers signed up to come this year.
We believe that this makes us one of the leading, if not the leading, agency in Thailand.
And as we say in our New Year Newsletter we have had a fantastic set of volunteers. We are getting more and more support from the local people and institutions. Our programs in Wat Si Suang and at our dorm have been increasingly popular, several schools in and around Nongkhai, Namsom and Pont Pisai are asking for our volunteers and now in April we have ten volunteers teaching all the "summer classes" at FGCC.
New Volunteer stories
Many new volunteer stories on the new page. Emma, Marlous, Josine and Mike, behind the camera, all have written volunteer stories.
Mike Says: "I arrived in Nong Khai in January with a severe case of jet lag and a tinge of anxiety. I had travelled thousands of miles to a remote corner of a country I knew little about to link up with an organization I only knew from the internet. I am so glad I took the risk to come!! What I found in Nong Khai was an extended family of Thais and volunteers that will be a part of me for the rest of my life....." Read Mike's story
